International Conference on Borate Glasses, Crystals & Melts

This is an international conference which meets every 3 years to discuss scientific progress in the study of borate glasses, crystals and melts.

The 10^th conference in the series will be held in Corning, USA, on 17-19 July 2023, followed by the 3^rd International Conference on Phosphate Glasses, Crystals and Melts. This is a revised date - the conference was originally scheduled for 12-15 July 2020, but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 9^th conference in the series was held in Oxford on 24-26 July 2017, followed by the 2^nd International Conference on Phosphate Materials on 26-28 July.

The 8^th conference in the series was held in 2014 in Pardubice in the Czech Republic, followed by the 1^st International Conference on Phosphate Glasses.

I am the chairman of the International Advisory Committee of the Borate Conference, and I am a member of the IAC of the Phosphate Conference.
